Abstract submissions have now closed!
Thank you for your enthusiasm to contribute to the Conference.
The Conference Organising Committee in conjunction with the New England Weeds Authority would like to take this opportunity to invite interested parties to submit an abstract outlining their proposed presentation for the conference.
Abstract submissions around the session themes below are invited or any suggestions you may have – tell us your stories!

Anyone is eligible to present, provided their abstract is received by the due date, their abstract is accepted for inclusion in the scientific program and their registration is lodged by the due date. While registrants’ wishes will be accommodated where possible, the Conference Organising Committee reserves the right to arrange presentations in themes as it sees fit.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts of 100-300 words should be submitted as an attachment (MS word) and emailed to
email@example.com by the EXTENDED DATE of Friday 21 April 2017.
Abstracts must include the following:
- Title of presentation
- Author(s) full name(s) – with the presenting author underlined
- Institutional affiliation or organisation
- Brief biography of the presenting author

Abstract submissions will be acknowledged by email and acceptances will be communicated by early May 2017.
Submission of an abstract constitutes the commitment of at least one of the authors to present the work as accepted, regardless of day/time assigned. If an abstract is accepted, the presenter will need to register to attend. All expenses including conference registration, accommodation and travel are the responsibility of the presenter. Submission of an abstract implies permission for it to be published in the Program and General Information Book.
We would also like to extend an invitation to all presenters to submit a paper for the conference proceedings. The proceedings will provide a legacy document for the conference and will be distributed to all delegates at the conference. Please refer to the Author instructions for 19th NSW Weeds Conference 2017.
Papers must be submitted by email to the Proceedings Editor, Heather Apps HApps@newa.nsw.gov.au, by the extended date of 31 July.
